With over 30 years’ experience within the South Australian care sector, Andrea brings a wealth of insight, expertise and passion to her role as Director of McArthur Community Care. Andrea has worked closely with numerous funding bodies, providing support while maintaining the highest standard of care to clients and their significant others that reside within the community and wish to remain as independent as possible.
Andrea’s focus remains on suitably matching support workers and clients in all aspects of daily living. She believes that success comes to those who connect, listen and are available during difficult times. Andrea holds a Postgraduate degree in Grief, Loss and Palliative Care Counselling from the University of Adelaide.
Snezana has extensive experience over 26 years as a Social Work Practitioner specialising in various roles in social welfare and aged care services. Snezana has held senior management and executive roles as the DHHS Manager for Strategy and Planning, DHHS Manager for Disability Client Services and more recently, as Manager for Disability Accommodations Services leading the NDIS Barwon Pilot.
As an Executive, Snezana has also had the privilege of providing NDIS registered services to newly transitioned participants through the NDIS roll-out in the Eastern and NEMA Areas of Victoria. Snezana has Bachelor Degrees in Social Sciences, Social Work and a Post Graduate in Family Therapy.
Louise manages both the McArthur Community Care and Early Childhood Education teams in our Sydney office. A highly experienced recruiter across both temp and perm, Louise is renowned for her commitment to the highest standards of quality and 100% focus on individual client needs.
She also has a strong generalist HR background with over 20 years’ experience across a broad range of roles including Training and Development, Employee Relations and HR Management.
Prior to joining McArthur, Kathy had nearly 20 years direct experience within the Queensland Disability sector, making her one of the state's most experienced and respected specialists. Her numerous roles within the sector have given her an exceptional understanding of all aspects of NDIS processes and procedures.
Like all McArthur Community Care team members, she also has an uncompromised commitment to helping deliver the best possible care to all clients.
Michelle has over 12+ years sector experience working for the South Australian Government disability agency. She also has an older sibling born with a disability and experienced first-hand the impact having a disability can have on a person and their family.
Michelle has witnessed the difference that experienced, caring and supportive support workers can have on a client and strongly believes that with the highest standard of care from McArthur Community Care, clients will be able to remain living independently in the community
Kim has worked in the disability sector for 30 years. Commencing as a Support Worker, Kim realised that she really wanted to work with clients and go all out to make a difference for clients and their family members.
She is passionate about clients receiving care and support specific to their individual needs. She also prides herself in introducing support workers that are equally dedicated to the sector as she is. From personal experience Kim has an intimate understanding of the sector. She brings dedication, humour, honesty and attention to detail. Kim enjoys maintaining a close relationship with clients and support workers and at all times aims for continuity of care.
Stacey commenced with McArthur in March 2019 in the role of Senior Services Coordinator in the new Community Care Program, having already spent 8 years in the disability sector. Her passion for the industry had her working with Nadrasca for her first 3.5 years. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Science and Community Health from Swinburne University. Stacey is always open to learning new things about the NDIS and enjoys every minute of her work.
Elisha commenced with McArthur in August 2019 in the role of NDIS Compliance and Accounts Coordinator. Experiencing first hand family members with a disability it was only fitting to choose a career path in this field. She loves working in the industry, previously working as a Disability Support Worker for 4 years before moving onto a Client Services role. Elisha enjoys learning new things within the industry and enjoys supporting NDIS participants and their families to ensure they receive the best possible support.
Kim has worked in the disability sector for a number of years as an NDIS Client Engagement Consultant before she joined the team in February of 2020. Kim was our After Hours Consultant for 18 months and has recently returned to head office as the Service Coordinator for the North West Division in Community Care. Kim has worked for 4 years as a Child Protection Practitioner at the Department Health and Human Services. Kim has a Diploma in Community Services and a Diploma in Case Management and Event Management. She is currently completing her Bachelor Social Work at Deakin University.
Kim is passionate in the Community Service Sector and supporting vulnerable people in need. Kim enjoys travelling and attending her local Church Campus where she is an active volunteer.
Prior to joining McArthur, Samantha studied at Deakin University completing a Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education. She continues to work as casual relief Teacher at various primary schools in the Eastern suburbs, including her passion in working at special needs schools. Samantha started her career at McArthur in May 2019 as an Early Childhood Consultant and transitioned to Community Care in August 2020. Currently Samantha is the Service Coordinator for the South East Division.
During her spare time, Sam enjoys going to the gym, spending quality time with friends and family and her dog Poppy.
Rae commenced working as a Disability Support Worker 9 years ago. When an opportunity arose, she moved to an administrative role as a Disability Program Facilitator for a day service at Mambourin. In the last 6 years, Rae has specialised working across portfolios as an Allocation Consultant, Child Protection- Out of Home Care Administrator and Accommodation Intake and Administration Coordinator. Rae has professional knowledge and skills across working with very complex NDIS Participants and Clients and has a deep passion in providing optimum care and support to all participants, their families and support staff. Rae has a Certificate IV in Disability and Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences.
In her spare time, Rae loves spending time with her daughter, husband and wider extended family.
Denis has recently graduated from the Institute for Social Neuroscience – ISN Psychology with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours). Having covered much theory, he is relatively new to the community and disability sector and is extremely excited to put everything learnt throughout his years of education into practice. With the long-term goal of becoming a psychologist, Denis could not be happier to be the new Rostering Coordinator at McArthur Community Care. Denis is passionate about working to deliver quality care and consumer driver outcomes.
In his spare time, Denis enjoys travelling, spending quality time with family and friends and is a sports fan.
Rema Dahal has just joined the team in June 2021 in the role of Afterhours Rostering Coordinator. Rema has a wealth of experience working across the social welfare sectors including disability and aged care case management. She has held positions as a Housing Case Manager at both Wombat Housing & Support Services, The Salvation Army Open Door and Caroline Chisholm Society. She has also worked as Family Support & Outreach Counsellor for Somerville Community Services and spent a few years as a Welfare Officer in the Intensive Case Management Support Team at the Immigration Detention Center in Darwin.
Rema has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma in Community Welfare, Diploma in counselling and Certificate III in Aged Care. She is currently studying an advanced Diploma in Community and Management. Rema has a strong desire to make a positive difference in people's lives and is driven by strong social justice principles. In her spare time, Rema enjoys spending time with her 2 pet birds, listening to music, cooking and going to the movies.
